Congrats on a fantastic showing at the Area F Marching Contest this past weekend. Your silver medal finish advances you to the prestigious UIL 5A State Marching Championship in San Antonio! We will compete with 32 other superior 5A marching bands!

State Send-Off Open Rehearsal & Performance

Parents and loved ones, please make plans to attend our open rehearsal / sendoff tomorrow night at MPS from 4:45 to 8:00PM. Mr. Barnard will hang around afterwards for any questions you all may have!

*Important* Trip Medication

If your student requires prescription medication over the trip, please fill out the over-night medication form (first file attached below) and turn into Mrs. Eby by This Friday, October 29th.

- Please only provide the amount needed for the trip.

- The medicine MUST be in the prescription bottle with an identified label.

With a signed form, over-the-counter medications such as Ibuprofen or Tums can be kept with the student and are recommended to bring on the trip. The directors and chaperones are not allowed to distribute over-the-counter medicine to students.

Please sign the second attached form to authorize permission for students to bring over-the-counter medicine on the trip.

- Please only provide the amount needed for the trip.

- Students may NOT distribute medicine to anybody else.

Here is all of the information for those planning on attending the contest:

Performance Time: 2:30 PM

Ticket Prices and Sessions:

Ticket prices at the gate will be:

  • Double Session (Sessions 1/2, 2/3, or 4/5): $30
  • Single Sessions: $20

Session 1: Monday, November 1: 5A Prelims (morning, afternoon, evening)
Session 2: Tuesday, November 2: 1A Prelims (morning), 5A Finals (afternoon)
Session 3: Tuesday, November 2: 1A Finals (evening)
Session 4: Wednesday, November 3: 3A Prelims (morning and afternoon)
Session 5: Wednesday, November 3: 3A Finals (evening)

Spectators are encouraged to arrive early to avoid congestion at the doors. The Box Office will open 75 minutes prior to first performance of the day and doors will open 45 minutes prior to the first performance in each session.

Tickets are available at the Alamodome Box Office or through Ticketmaster.

Alamodome Rules and Regulations:

The Alamodome has specific rules and regulations regarding what can be brought into the facility:

  • No food, coolers or beverages.
  • No balloons; No air horns; No signs may be hung or connected to poles or sticks; No weapons; and no selfie sticks.
  • Individuals will be wanded and there will be security dogs stationed at the entrances and loading dock areas.


A limited amount of on-site spectator parking will be available in Lot B. A temporary COVID-19 vaccination station will be occupying a portion of Lot B. The parking fee, as set by the City of San Antonio, is $15 (cash only). There are no re-entry privileges. Spectator overflow parking will be available off-site.

Patch and Apparel Sales

This is a very exciting time to be a Panther Band member, and we can’t wait to celebrate our Seniors at the football game Friday (SCHEDULE), the Bands of America Waco Regional on Saturday (SCHEDULE), and the State Marching Championship on Monday and Tuesday!
