RHS Football

The Tiger football team defeated county rival, LFO, 56-0 on Friday night. The offense was led by Mason Parker, Kori Dumas, and Malachi Hill.

The defense had THREE defensive touchdowns and were led by Brady Gray, Kyle White, and Bryson Bethune. The team will host Murray County this Friday.


Congratulations to Peyton Williams, Whose performance against North Murray was named one of the top 5 High School performances in Georgia last week, and a big shout out to GHSF Daily Co-Founder and Co-Publisher, Todd Holcomb, and his partner, Chip Saye, for naming Peyton for this honor!

Softball

Ringgold Softball won 5 out of 7 games last week. Ringgold Beat Rockmart, LFO, Heard County, Hebron Christian, and Tattnall Square. Ringgold is in the top 4 of the region standings and has two weeks left in the regular season. Senior night will be Tuesday, Sept. 28th. at 5:00!

Cross Country

RHS Cross Country competed in the Adairsville Invitational last Thursday. The girls placed 2nd overall with Claire Brumfield (Freshman) placing 5th overall, and Kale Davis (Junior) placing 3rd overall in the boys varsity race. (pictured below)

JROTC

JROTC Raiders competed in a mud runner and were invited to spend a day at the capital with LT. Governor Butch Miller.

Volleyball

Last week Varsity volleyball had region wins against Rockmart and Murray County. JV Volleyball had wins against Sonoraville, Adairsville, and Murray County. Girls play at Gordon Lee today and at home on Tuesday and Thursday (region games).

Ringgold Rally 5k Oct 16

Come out and support the RHS Cross Country team and run the Ringgold Rally 5k on October 16th! It is a flat and fast course taking runners around downtown Ringgold and finishes in the football stadium. FCCLA

The RHS FCCLA officers will be attending the FCCLA Region 1 Officer Training today from 5:00-7:00 at Ridgeland High School.

From Here To Career

RHS From Here To Career classes had their Habitudes activity about Bikes and Birds this past week. What an amazing second year of doing this airplane project with our students so they can better learn about problem solving and using existing ideas to create even better ones like the Wright Brothers did over 100 years ago. #CTAEdelivers (pictured above)

RHS Football Named Team of the Week

The Georgia High School Football Daily presented Coach Akins with the 'Team of the Week' award for the entire state of Georgia. Members of the football team, dance team, cheerleaders, & band were all present (in the rain!) to receive the award. Go Tigers!

PBIS Student/Teacher of the Week

The PBIS TigerBucks Student of the Week is Robert McAllister who wins a $15.00 gift card. Please see Mrs. Helton in the front office to pick up your gift card.

RHSPA had a car wash over the weekend raising $600!
