Senior Night October 22nd, 2021

Tonight is senior night for all football, cross country, cheer, and band athletes. Football players will be recognized prior to the start of the football game at approximately 6:30 PM. Cross country, cheer, and band will be recognized during halftime. All athletes along with their escorts will meet on the east side of the grandstands. Athletes will be called out in alphabetical order by sport.

Dress-Up Competition

Halloween Dress Up Class Competition! The BHS Leadership is sponsoring a class dress-up competition the class with the most dressed-up students on Friday, October 29 will win a treat during advisory.

PARENTS: If your student does not have a personal Chromebook or laptop at home, please have them stop by the office and pick up a device check-out form. There is a $25.00 refundable fee due prior to receiving a BSD Chromebook.

Please remember to check your email for information regarding Chromebooks. Please note that the students are not bringing home computers at this time, but we are asking for a $25 refundable deposit now, if you think that your student would need to borrow a computer should we have to go back to distance learning. Please contact the office with any questions or if you need help paying this fee. Please also remember to fill the Technology Device Agreement that went home with your student earlier this month if you haven’t already done so.

Hoops For Hope

October 30th is the annual youth basketball camp "Hoops for Hope". All proceeds from this camp go towards local charities and the Lady Tigers Basketball team. The camp is available for students in 3rd-8th grades and costs $25. Fliers were sent home with interested students this past week. Copies of the flier can be found on Facebook and in the HLMS office.

Girl's Basketball Season Begins

The HLMS Girl's Basketball season begins October 25th. Please sign up in "FamilyID" and make sure that you have a current sports physical on file before the first practice. Stay tuned for more information, and reach out to the office with any questions.

Picture Delivery and Picture Retakes

Picture packets should be arriving by the end of next week. Picture retake day will be November 16th for those students who either missed picture day or who want to retake their photos.

Ocean Crest will celebrate Red Ribbon Week during Oct. 25-29.

Each day we will have a dress up theme.

Mon- We are “RED-y” to say NO to drugs- Wear Red

Tues- From Head to Toe, We are Drug Free- Wear Silly Hat/Socks

Wed- Our Future is Bright- Wear Bright Colors

Thurs- Lei OFF Drugs- Wear Beach/Hawaiian clothes, we will provide a lei necklace

Fri- Drugs are Scary- Wear a Halloween Costume
