Photosynthesis
Photosynthesis is the process by which glucose is made inside of a plant. Photosynthesis takes place in the chloroplasts and produces oxygen and glucose. The plant uses water and carbon dioxide to produce water and glucose. The reaction between water and carbon dioxide ONLY takes place in plant cells. Photosynthesis uses the products of Cellular respiration while making energy in the form of glucose.
Cellular respiration
Cellular respiration is the process by which carbon dioxide is made inside of a cell. Cellular respiration takes place in the mitochondria and produces water and glucose. The cell uses oxygen and glucose to produce water and carbon dioxide. The reaction between takes place in BOTH plant animal cells. Cellular respiration uses the products of Photosynthesis while releasing energy from glucose.
