Land Policy
Farmers receive one labor, or 177 acres. And those who raise cattle receive 4,428 acres.
Requirements of Colonists
Colonists had to become Catholic or agree to be Catholic. They would also have to accept that there would be hard times in Texas. Also colonists had to pledge there loyalty to Spain.
Land In Texas
Land in Texas is full of grass and plants, and water is near by, so it's very good for cattle ranching and growing crops. People love the land!
Cost
Land in the United States cost $1.25 per acre, but in Texas it's 12.5 cents per acre and over several years. That's a bargain!
