WBSD Back-to-School Events Information - Masks Required
We hope you are enjoying the remaining days of your well deserved summer break. Everyone in Team WB is eagerly awaiting the start of the 2021-22 school year on Aug. 30 and the return to five full days of in-person, face to face instruction per week. Please read this very important communication about mitigation strategies we will be implementing for our back-to-school events occurring this week and next week.
Click the button for the WBSD Mask Request Communication sent on Aug. 17 regarding masks at back-to-school events.
The District will be implementing a NEW Chromebook Repair Policy for the 2021-2022 school year. This new policy will replace the insurance program instituted for broken or lost devices during previous school years.
Blessings in a Backpack Application - 2021-22
If your child qualified for the Free and Reduced Meal Program last year or this year, s/he can also participate in the Blessings in a Backpack program. This program sends six non-perishable meals home each Friday of the school year. Its goal is to make sure that no child goes hungry on the weekend. Run by volunteers, there is NO cost to you.
If your child is going to school Face to Face, s/he will get his/her bag of food at his/her local school. If your child is enrolled in Lakers on Line, please indicate that on the form and we will contact you on food pickup arrangements.
To enroll in this program, please fill out the form below and return it to your school office or email it to email@example.com. The first section gives the West Bloomfield School District's Nutrition Department permission to release your name to Blessings in a Backpack, so that they can add your child/ren to their roster. The second section registers your child/ren in the Blessings program and alerts them to any allergies they might have. The first backpack of food will be distributed the first week of October.
