SPRING COMES TO J. A. VITOVSKY!
Students, teachers, and staff looked forward to spring, but had to "enjoy" a few more days of cold weather. Fortunately, spring break gave everyone time to enjoy family and friends away from school.
MISD COFFEE @ JAV
On Tuesday, March 25, 2014, the Vitovsky library hosted the last Superintendent's Coffee, a forum for parents and community members to access the latest MISD news and ask questions.
Dr. Jerome Stewart, MISD superintendent, discussed the growth of our district and plans for accommodating new students. Mrs. Krista Tipton, principal of MIdlothian Heritage High School, showed off the newest MISD campus. Mrs. Judy Walling, Assistant Superintendent for Learning, presented information on Texas House Bill 5.
Dr. Stewart welcomes parents and members of the community.

Brenda Hayes Says Goodbye to JAV
Friends and family gathered in the JAV library on Thursday, March 27 to say farewell to Brenda Hayes, who served as JAV campus secretary for many years.
Ash Grove Cement Company Helps Fifth Grade
Fifth grade students at JAV happily accepted a $1,000 donation from Ash Grove Cement Company. This gift will be applied to the Austin field trip in May.
