BHS BAND RECEIVES ALL SUPERIOR RATINGS / MOST ENTERTAINING SHOW AWARD
Our marching band attended their first competition in 2 years this past Saturday at the Northwest Alabama Marching Classic. What a performance it was, ending with the crowd on their feet for the only standing ovation of the day. The results (below) attest to what these students have accomplished so far this season.
If you haven't seen this year's production, I encourage you to make time to come see it from the top of the stands. I guarantee you'll thoroughly enjoy it. We are performing at the community pep rally Thursday, before the game Friday, during half-time at the remaining Varsity FB games, and we have two more competitions (10/16 and 10/23). ~Jacob Souder, Band Director

Sign Up to Round Up!
The Round Up Program was started by The Schools Foundation and Huntsville Utilities to support local public school systems. The Schools Foundation is a funding partner of Madison County Schools. The more residential and commercial locations that round up, the more funding we can receive. Estimates show that if just half of the residential Huntsville Utilities users rounded up, it would generate approximately $500,000 to support our schools! By rounding up your utility bill to the nearest dollar each month, you help invest in the future of our students!
You can easily sign up to round up online:
http://www.hsvutil.org/myhsvu…/checkbill/roundup/signup.html
It might be a penny, it might be 25 cents, it might be 99 cents, but it will be no more than $11.88 a year. It takes less than 1 minute to fill out.
Thank you for supporting one of our community partners! Go Bucks!
