Timothy Ball News November 25 - 29
Welcoming all. Believing in all. Growth for all.
A Note from Mr. Ciochina
Wow! Our Timothy Ball Spell Bowl team did an absolutely fantastic job at their competition this week. The team earned FIRST Place at the local competition and earned THIRD Place in the entire state of Indiana! This is a special accomplishment and this group of students and coaches showed us all that setting goals and working hard leads to great things. I want to congratulate Bella B,. Caroline B., Skyler B., Lena C., Brooklyn D., Gabriela G., Henry H., Austin H., Payton J., Lori M., Asher M., Campbell N., Aaden O., Simona T., Coach Carlson, and Coach Emory on this amazing accomplishment.
Keep in mind -- next week is a short week because of the Thanksgiving holiday. There is no school on Thursday, November 28 or Friday, November 29. I hope you enjoy this extra time with family! School will resume on Monday, December 2. It is hard to believe, but we are actually at the midpoint of our second grading period. Now is a great time to check in on your child's progress by logging into RDS and BUZZ.
Thank you for staying off of your cell phones in our parking lots and driveways. We really appreciate your commitment to following our procedures during morning drop-off and during dismissal. Our number one priority is the safety of all students.
Please consider nominating one of our outstanding teachers... Students, parents, and fellow colleagues can access The Times Teacher Appreciation Form at www.nwitimes.com/forms/teachers_appreciation/ and nominate a teacher who excels in the classroom. Nominators are kept confidential.
Thank you for being a fantastic partner in education. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
Mr. Ciochina
