Principal's Corner
Greetings Orcas,
September 15th marks the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month, which will continue through mid-October. We are looking forward to the many different projects and activities our students and staff have in store to increase our appreciation and knowledge of Hispanic culture and contributions to our wonderful nation.
Congratulations to our August Students and Staff Member Character Award Winners of the month! We admire and appreciate your efforts in creating a positive learning environment for everyone around you. Keep up the excellent work!
Parents, below you will find details regarding the upcoming Virtual PVO meeting being held the 23rd. If you are interested in becoming involved please be sure to attend or reach out to the PVO team.
As a quick reminder, Progress Reports will be available next week and Parent Teacher Conferences are being held on Tuesday and Wednesday. Additional details are being sent via email so please continue to monitor your inboxes.
Lastly, we would like to welcome families to observe a moment of silence tomorrow, Patriot Day, to remember those who were injured or died during the attacks of 9/11. This marks two decades since the occurrence, but the effects of those days are still felt throughout our communities.
I hope you all have a nice weekend and look forward to updating you on our students’ continued success next week.
