UConn Early College Experience invites the public to the view the inaugural Juried Drawing Exhibition featuring the work of UConn ECE ART1030: Drawing I students from all over the state.

Junior Portfolio Review: Saturday, May 20th, 3:30-5:00pm.

Students are able to participate in a Junior Portfolio review with an experienced faculty member from the UConn Art or Art History departments. While not an official portfolio review for purposes of entry into the program, it is an opportunity for high school Juniors to receive helpful feedback in creating their portfolios for college applications.

Introduction to Art

Rock Out!

Bolton High School visual art classes have come together to create hand painted rocks that will be presented as prizes / trophies for, the Ninth Annual Bolton Cross-Country Classic 5K , our theme this year is the art of Flags. The race this year will be held on Saturday, August 19 at 9 A.M. The race is held on the XC course at Bolton High School. Prizes are awarded to the overall male and female winners and the top two finishers in each age category. The race is a fundraiser for the Boys and Girls Cross-Country teams at Bolton High School.

Photography

Students are in the process of exploring advanced design problems using alternative methods of shooting, editing, and finishing. The current project subjects include: Landscape Panorama and Self Portrait Photomontage.

Painting & Ceramics

Painting & Ceramics students work will be on display in Bolton's BOE Office showing now throughout the summer break. Come take a look at their creative clay families!
