The Pig Roast Needs YOU!
Volunteers Needed for Pig Roast Cooking and Cutting Crew!
The Princeton Lakes Pig Roast is scheduled for Saturday, October 12th and Rob Andrews is scheduling the volunteers for the cooking and cutting crew!
We need:
- A crew Friday evening, around 7:00 p.m., to set up the cooker, fire barrels and kegs
- Need 5 shifts of Cooking Crews (3-5 people each) to get the pigs cooked (2 whole pigs, chickens, Boston Butts, etc)
- The shifts are Friday: 8:00–11:00 p.m., 11:00 p.m.-2:00 a.m., 2:00–5:00 a.m., 5:00-8:00 a.m.
- Need people for each and every shift, not just the ever popular 8-11 & 11–2 shifts!
- Need about 6 people to pull and chop starting around 11:00 a.m. Saturday.
You veterans know the drill and if you are a “rookie” find an old guy and he will tell you what to do. Setup starts Friday, October 11th around 7:00 p.m. We plan to have some BBQ going Friday so the crews will be well fed!
Please take a few minutes to see what you can assist with and which shift works best for you.
Please note we can’t have everyone on the 8:00 – 11:00 p.m. shift and then only 1 guy on the 2:00 – 5:00 a.m. shift. We were short on the cutting/picking crew last year, so please keep that in mind when scheduling your shift.
Please email Rob Andrews at rgandrews@comcast.net with your shift preference and he will start the cooking crew schedule/spreadsheet. There will be incentives to working the graveyard shift this year!

Neighborhood Garage Sale?
We would like to do things differently this year and have the sale at the clubhouse and in the parking lot. This is a great way to boost more traffic, which was an issue last year. It will be October 5th from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Please email social@princetonlakes.net if you are available to help organize the event.
