COVID-19 Symptom Screening Web App

Dear Parents/Guardians and Staff:

In an effort to promote a safe and healthy environment for students and staff entering our buildings, Barrington 220 is implementing a web app to allow families and staff to quickly and easily report current COVID-19 symptoms. A web app is a website that functions like an app, but does not require a download from an App Store. This reporting is required by our local health departments. Please use this web app each day before arriving at school.

To access our COVID-19 Symptom Screening web app:

1. Visit on any device.

2. SIGN IN using your Infinite Campus username and password.

3. Respond to the survey for each child in your family, or for yourself if you are a staff member.

4. Tap CONFIRM for each survey to report the results.

The system will confirm each check-in and respond whether or not it is safe to come to school for the day.

When arriving at school, a school employee will scan each ID. Those who have reported that they are free of COVID-19 symptoms may enter the building that day.

To learn more ways to access this system, please view this PDF.

A short instructional video is available here.

Thank you for helping us all remain safe during this pandemic.

Wednesday Schedule

As a reminder, next Wednesday is September 30th, an even numbered day. This means that all even class periods will conduct synchronous zoom lessons. If teachers would like to host a synchronous zoom lesson for their odd periods, they will tell their students prior to Wednesday. Please remind your child to check in Schoology to see if their classes are posted as 'zoom lessons' or 'self-paced work.'

Library Media Center Hours

Beginning on October 20th, the Media Center will be open for those students who need help from a teacher or just a quiet place to work after school. The Media Center is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school until 5:00. Activity Busses are available at 5:00 if needed.

MAP Testing

MAP Testing here at Station Campus began today. Whether you are testing in person, or at home, your child will be testing at the times below. At the time of testing, they will receive a message through Schoology with the name of the Test Session and the password. This message will also contain an email that students can use to get help with technology issues. To be sure that your iPad is ready for testing, all students should watch the video, attached.

If students are testing in person, they must arrive with a mask, a completed health screening form, and only their iPad. They will be checked in and directed to a testing center. Students should not report if they are exhibiting any symptoms that are on the screener. The health screener is attached here.

Additional Information about Classes During Testing: We have had some questions regarding classes during the testing windows. Please see the two notes below.

7th and 8th Grade: On the day of testing for any given grade level, we will have no synchronous sessions for that grade level. There may be some asynchronous work from off team teachers/mixed team teachers, or opportunities to get support from core teachers.

6th Grade: On the day of testing for any given team, we will have no synchronous sessions for that team. There may be some asynchronous work from off team teachers/mixed team teachers, or opportunities to get support from core teachers.

If you are unable to attend, or experience technical problems, please don't panic. We have a lot of time, and several ways to complete these tests. Do your best and let us know if we can assist.
