A Message From The New Principal
Mrs. Nichole Kristensen
Dear Middleton Heights Staff and Families...
My name is Nichole Kristensen and I am so excited to be the principal at Heights Elementary School! I have a strong passion to create an enriching and fun learning environment for students, families and staff and can’t wait to share this passion with you.
I have been in education for the last 11 years. I graduated from Boise State University in 2008 with my Bachelors in Elementary Education with a focus on Special Education. I started my career as a special education teacher in the West Ada School District and eventually moved to the Boise School District. I have taught students from Kindergarten through sixth grade in both resource and extended resource settings.
In 2014, I completed a M.Ed. in Special Education and was given opportunity to work at Boise State University as an Instructional Coordinator for a program called Idaho SESTA. Within that role, I have provided support and assistance to educators throughout the state of Idaho when working with students with disabilities. In 2018, I completed a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership, which ignited a passion within me to work as an administrator at the school level.
I am married and have two beautiful daughters. We have lived in the Treasure Valley for the last 20 years. As a family, we enjoy all of the outdoor activities Idaho has to offer.
I am so impressed with those I have met so far within the Middleton School District. I look forward to our time together and welcome you to stop by my office to introduce yourself at the end of this summer.
