Literacy Tip: #Hashtags
Ms. Kirchhof's World History class is going to read a brief article on the causes for the decline of the Roman Empire. Before her students begin to read, she tells her students that they will create hashtags for the following tweet using the information in the reading. The hashtags should help the people reading the tweet understand what caused the Roman Empire to fall. One hashtag has been included as an example: #HunsRGonnaGetcha refers to the Germanic invasions of the empire.
