What's next?
“I think if you do something and it turns out pretty good, then you should go do something else wonderful, not dwell on it for too long. Just figure out what’s next.”
-Steve Jobs
I recently watched the movie Steve Jobs. Prior to that I really didn't know a lot about they guy who brought us the iPod and other devices that are just part of our societal norms today. Amidst this biopic of a modern-day master of industry were many themes and concepts that relate directly to our world of education. This quote in particular stood out to me. This is what we strive for everyday in our classrooms. In my conversations with teachers and through my observations around the school I see teachers who day in, day out strive to go beyond pretty good and relentlessly pursue wonderful. I see it in your bell-to-bell instruction, I see it when you're in rooms early and late helping kids, I see it in your interactions with each other, and in several other ways, and for that, I thank you!
