STEAM Education Leadership Conference 2016
Riverview Intermediate Unit and Clarion University are teaming up for the second consecutive year to present the STEAM Education Leadership Conference. It’ll be held at CUP on June 22. Participants will enjoy a keynote address from Mark Dohn, an opportunity to choose from 28 ed tech and STEAM break-out sessions, time to network with classroom leaders from across the state, and a vendor bingo activity for an opportunity to win all kinds of prizes, all while receiving 6 - Act 48 hours.
There’s truly something for everyone: college and graduate students, K-12 teachers, administrators, after-school providers, faculty/staff of higher ed. and anyone interested in learning about the future of education and technology integration.

The course will guide participants in identifying major issues inherent in the transition from traditional instruction to 21st century teaching & learning. Likewise, participants will begin implementing 21st century tools in the classroom.
Learn to create screencasts, develop classroom management techniques, identify cloud-based alternatives for software; explore the flipped classroom concept, etc.
