Thank You
The award could only happen because of your time and dedication you give to our school community each day. We encounter many challenging situations but you all handle each one will skill and grace. Every principal is a distinguished principal as they serve their community with the end goal of all scholars succeeding. All of you have gone beyond the goal and made it the norm at CES, that all will succeed. Your give your best each day for our scholars and your efforts elevated me to be recognized as the Maryland Distinguished Principal. Thank you so much for being the great staff that all principals dream of having on their team.
With Star Pride,
Tracy
Cart Collections for PARCC
David will need to collect all grade level carts on Thursday 4/19. Carts should be loaded, and plugged in for him to pick up first thing in the morning on 4/19.
Thanks!
Earth Day and Environmental Learning.
Our school has been awarded a Global School of Service Recognition for our work with the garden and Katie’s Krops. We have also been awarded a Lowe’s Toolbox grant for $5,000. Through this grant and our service learning day, we are hoping to expand our Learning Garden, create a pollinator garden, a sensory garden, and collaborate with other schools in our feeder pattern. Parents, CTC students, staff, and possibly Lowe’s will be here to help with this project.

Message from Debbie Myers, Math Curriculum Specialist
Last Thursday, our Department, as well as some users throughout the county, received an email from TenMarks informing us that they decided to “wind down” their business at the end of June 2019. This information has been confirmed through the TenMarks website and on their Twitter feed.
We will continue to use TenMarks as it is the best choice within technology platforms hence, TenMarks will remain in place through June 2019. Throughout this year and next year our office will examine math resources that may be considered to replace TenMarks.
