Great Plains
Alec McGinty
The northern and southern Great Plains stretch west of the Mississippi River and east of Rocky Mountains in the United states and Canada. Due to the large stretch of the terrain, there is a lot of flat land, river valleys and railroads developments. Canada has yellow canola fields and very important crops which mainly consist of wheat. One of the most important National parks is the Bad Lands, which is south of south Dakota.

Badlands draws lots of visitors because they are one of the world's richest fossil beds.
