CROCKETT VERTICAL TEAM AISD Calendar UPDATED 6.21.18
Cougar Gold Ceremony Coming Soon

Attention Vertical Team Families
There is a law in the state of Texas that is intended to give districts more local control to suit the individual needs of campuses. Our participation this school year (17-18) included a professional development date on November 10th. The Crockett Vertical Team is proposing the following District of Innovation dates: Sept 24th, Jan 3rd and 4th, Feb 15th for the 2018-19 school year. You will receive more information regarding these dates to be used as student holidays, so you can best organize your calendars.

Ms. McMillon Named as UT Cooperating Teacher Fellow
From the UTeach Urban Teacher Program
"Students and faculty of the UTeach Urban Teacher program dedicate their energies towards preparing the next generation of social studies educators for linguistically and culturally diverse contexts. Our program focuses attention upon re-imaging democracy in school settings — where diverse communities are not just “included” but actually central to our ways of knowing and being in the world.
We are proud to name Ms. McMillon as our 2017-18 Cooperating Teacher Fellow. In doing so we express our gratitude for your service and note your exceptional talents as a teacher and mentor. We recognize you as an exemplar that generously contributes to the UT UT program and the future of our profession."
Congratulations Ms. McMillon! We are so #AISDPROUD of you!
