Dismissal Update - 10 Minutes Later Starting Wednesday

This is a little overdue as dismissal has become muscle memory. We shifted dismissal a little early to help work out the kinks. Clearly those are worked out. We will dismiss exactly 10 minutes later starting on Wednesday.

NOTHING IS CHANGING OTHER THAN WHEN YOU LEAVE TO COME TO SCHOOL TO PICK UP YOUR CHILD. LEAVE TEN MINUTES LATER :-)

Thank you!!

Hello World Update

We are very excited to share that our teachers in grades 3-5 have been in Hello World "Boot Camp" for the last three weeks and they are ready. We will be launching our computer programming in the classrooms in the next two weeks.

Camp Invention Is Coming Back (Early Bird Discount)

We will be back with BCE teachers the week of July 25 to finish up the summer in fun fashion. We sold out our Camp Invention seats very quickly last year.

What To Do If Your Child Is Not Feeling Well

What Do If Your Child Is Not Feeling Well

If your child is ill with symptoms consistent (cough, sore throat, stomach issues, headaches, fatigue, congestion, etc ...) with Covid-19 contact Mr. Crissey and your child's teacher and then the following protocols must be followed:

Students May Return After

10 days have passed since symptoms started, and improvement in overall symptoms, and 24 hours have passed without fever and use of fever-reducing medication.

OR

Provide doctor’s note to campus health room staff stating that symptoms are not COVID-19-related and student can return to school.

OR

Provide a negative COVID-19 test. This MUST be a PCR test not a rapid test.

As an FYI the same holds true for staff members.

Fourth Grade Veterans' Day Performance (UPDATE)

Hello Cubs,

4th graders have been hard at work learning a few songs for a small Veterans' Day performance.

The performance will be prerecorded and sent out to fourth grade parents via a link that will go to a google drive folder.

If you do not want your child to be on the video, please email David Crissey to opt out your child from the recorded performance.

This performance will not be posted on Youtube or other social media, it is intended for our Bear Creek community and families.

This week we will be recording each classes' contribution to the small Veterans Day performance. If students would like to wear red, white, and blue or any other patriotic attire for their recording, you can see the schedule listed below to know what day they should be dressed in those colors!

Wednesday- Forrest and Miller

Thursday- Luft

Friday- Mangels

Let us know if you have any questions!
