Mark your calendars:
- Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2019 - Lower Schools' Curriculum Night

At Curriculum Night, you should expect:
- Dr. Samms and the Directors to make presentations on curriculum;

- Time to meet and talk briefly with your scholar's teachers and establish a good working relationship.
Welcome to GIA
It is truly a GIA family affair for the Mitchell family. Dad Barry is the custodian manager at GIA and Mom Kahli is a kindergarten paraprofessional in the Girls Academy. The Mitchells' three youngest children also attend GIA. Barry Jr. is a 6th grader in the Boys Academy; his favorite subject is math and he loves playing video games. Daughters Golden and Berea' are 7th and 3rd grade scholars, respectively, in the Girls Academy. Golden's favorite subject is science; she plays volleyball and runs track. Berea's favorite subject is math; she loves to make slime.
The Mitchell family was attracted to GIA because of the opportunity to balance work, family, and the children's education at GIA. The Mitchell family is grateful for the outpouring of love and kindness they have received. Mom Kahli says that after doing some research on GIA's E5 curriculum and sports offerings, she and her husband knew the decision to join GIA was the right one.
Welcome to GIA - Mitchell family!
