Unified Sports
We are pleased to offer for the first time at BHS, Unified Sports which is a combined partnership between Massachusetts Special Olympics and the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA), offering basketball in the Fall and potentially Track in the Spring. Unified sports combines student-athletes with a partner in a competitive MIAA sanctioned environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for all of our students and in particular our Best Buddies program participants. Our Athletic Director will offer a combined Parent/Student overview at 5 pm next Wednesday, September 19th prior to our scheduled parent teacher conferences at 6 pm. The meeting will occur in the lecture hall.
* Games against other schools in our region will occur in October and November
* Kerry Farrell and her staff will be coaching
* Practice dates are being worked out around our other athletic sports

Parent Pick Up and Drop Off
Thank you for your response to the drop off and pick up email I send out earlier this week.
Additionally, please do not use the student lot for drop off and pick up. We have many new drivers in that lot and our goal is to keep that space free of extra traffic to prevent congestion and to promote safety.
Online Backpack
We realize that high school students do not often remember to tell you about school and community events. Be sure to check out the Bellingham school district’s “BackPack” site to view recent/upcoming important BHS school information and community flyers.
