Bird School News
February 2022
A Note from Principal Toepfer...
Hello CH Bird Families and Caregivers,
We ended January by celebrating the 100th day of school, we are 100 days smarter! We have a lot of fun activities and celebrations happening and coming up! From Black History Month to Valentine’s Day to TWOsday (2-22-22) to a Kindness Challenge!
Our Black History Month Door Decoration Museum will be ready for viewing during family conferences on Thursday, February 24th from 4pm-8pm and Friday, February 25th from 7:30am-11:30am. Enter the school through the grade level entrance your student uses each school day and pick up ballot slips for the door decorating contest.
We are able to have classroom Valentine’s celebrations, but all treats must be store bought, pre-packaged and will be sent home to eat. We do have Valentine’s available for any families that need them, just reach out to your student’s classroom teacher.
We will also celebrate TWOsday on Tuesday, February 22nd by having a dress up day, students will be seeing double with a special treat and other fun ways to celebrate.
We are having a fun February!
Sending love to all our families!
Warmly,
Nicole Toepfer
