What will you see?
11.8 to 12.5 feet wide, 96.7 feet tall carrara marble tower. With an amazing frieze along the side depicting Trajan's victories in the Dacian Wars.
What is it ?
The tower was built in 113 AD under the supervision of Apollodorus of Damascus, to honor Trajan and all of his victories in the wars during this time period. Later to be used as a tomb when Trajan's ashes were place in a gold casket inside the base of the tower.
Where?
Located in Rome near the Quirinal Hill. North of the Roman Forum. You cant miss it!
