Where do I get the AMI work?
https://www.myarkansaspbs.org/arkansasami
Watching online is also a great option for students who have a hard time sitting for an hour and half so that you can break the time up into shorter spans.
The resource packets with activities that go along with the shows can be picked up in the buckets outside the front door of the school or can be accessed digitally from your teacher each week.
There is no need for a paper copy if you can access it digitally. Many of the activities are hands on and don't require paper or pencil. For the others, any paper you have around the house is perfectly fine.
Channel 2 PBS Schedule
8:00-9:30 PreK- 2nd grade
9:30-11:00 3rd- 5th grade
How do I turn my AMI work in to my teacher?
Your teachers will be asking for you to submit work through them either through pictures, or by showing them the work or telling them about the work during Zoom conferences.
Where can I get things my child left at school?
Yearbooks and Class pictures have not been delivered yet, and we are wanting to wait until these have been received so we can have one pick up time.
As soon as a date and plan has been decided upon, we will email, DoJo, post of Facebook, and notify you through teachers. Please be watching for this information in the next couple of weeks.
How do I know Zoom is safe?
Please help by making sure that you don't share the links with others who should not have access to the links.
Zoom also has installed many new features that allow it to be more secure. They have started having passwords required to enter meetings, and have created waiting rooms that allow the host to refuse to allow unknown participants into the meeting.
We have many parents who are sitting with or near their child during the Zoom meetings, and this is highly encouraged.
If you have any questions about Zoom, please don't hesitate to talk to your teacher or Mrs. Beavert or Mrs. Berryhill.
Do I need to return Library Books my child has at home?
So, in the next couple of weeks, be searching around and finding those library books!!
If a student has a library book checked out in the classroom, teachers will take care of returning those for the students.
