Personal Note
So, this week is not turning out how I wanted it to. Many of you know that my son has been diagnosed with a developmental delay. He receives speech, OT, and early intervention each week. Next week, we begin the part of the journey where we explore what may be causing this delay. Due to complications, his MRI was rescheduled for Monday. Tuesday, Wednesday, and possibly Thursday, we will be at Levine's Children's Hospital where he will be undergoing a 72 hour EEG.
With that being said, my hours in the building next week will be limited. I will be answering email, text messages, and phone calls...if I am able. If you need anything, Carie is here and is an amazing resource to us all!
Thank you for your continued patience with me. I know that things will look up for us soon!

SLO/GBE
Teachers, please begin to complete your mid-year SLO/GBE information in Classroom Mosaic. Let me know of a Wednesday grade level meeting that you would like to use to complete the mid-year check-in.
Right now, Kindergarten and 1st are the only teams on the calendar.
Counselor's Corner
On Friday, February 8th 2nd-5th grade will be participating in JA for a day. This half day workshop will kick off our career unit in Guidance.
JA for a day is dedicated to teaching 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades about financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work readiness skills. Volunteers present the JA curriculum to students – giving students the opportunity to benefit from the volunteer’s background and experience.
Junior Achievement inspires and prepares young people to succeed in an increasingly competitive global economy. We do so by helping teachers support their students with 21st century skills including entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and career readiness.
