Staff News

  • Our thoughts and prayers are with Cindy Colby. Her sister passed away over the weekend.
  • Carol will be in for Janet Kramer (T-TH) as Janet is headed to Camp. If we are unable to secure a sub for Cindy, we may need to rotate Marge Staulters and Deb Near to support Carol.
  • I would also like to wish Jen Coombs well as she recently submitted her letter of resignation. Jen will finish out this school year in Kindergarten and then move on from JHE to pursue a different path in life. Jen has been a valuable member of our teaching staff, friend to many and wonderful support to the children of JHE. She will be missed! We wish her luck in all her future endeavors. May she experience tremendous happiness in her next chapter in life.

Senior Walk

SHH it is a surprise! On Wednesday June 8th at 9:00 A.M. Mike, Brita and Lisa will be asking the seniors to come to school with their cap and gown. They will then lead them on a walk through the elementary halls as a final tribute to their educational days at Galway. Please have your classes line the halls and cheer as they proceed through the halls. They will end their walk in the elementary cafeteria having cookies and milk and we will present the seniosr with the book "All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten." They will each sign this and it will be displayed in the elementary library!

We have been provided with preliminary test released questions from NYS. I will forward these to everyone later today. The highlighted (yellow) will show where we out performed better than the RIC and NERIC. The highlighted (peach) will show where we did better than the RIC or NERIC.
