DOSS REMINDERS
Please let us know if you need our assistance with any of your parent conferences.
Remember to:
start with a positive, share the data, and have a plan for the student to improve.
Please make sure that you are meeting with the parents of any student (including refugees/ELL students/SPED students) who are not currently being successful. Thanks for always doing such a great job with our parents!! I appreciate you!
This week we will be celebrating African American History Month. The Friday Assembly may be a little longer than normal as we will have a fun and educational presentation! Please see the following links for activities that you can do with your students to support African-American History Month:

Nami Lee will be returning to help us out with reading interventions for grades K and 1. Welcome Nami!
It's been fun meeting with grade level teams and having time to plan! Thank you for your hard work and planning on these days.
District Literacy Plan: Just a reminder, students progress the most when they read with their homeroom teacher and when they receive feedback from their teacher. Thank you for conferencing with your students on a weekly basis and making that part of your reading routine.
Self-Care: During this busy, demanding time...please make sure to put yourself first.
