Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training - ALL STAFF

Our staff will be participating in this training on three Wednesdays beginning November 18th. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention is and has been the hallmark of how to work with students who exhibit crisis which can looks lots of different ways. Consider this training to help us with students who may experience a first time trauma at school or students who are repeated concerns. This will teach you how to respond early so that issues do not escalate as well as what to do when it does indeed escalate. Several of our staff members are already training. Ms. Douglas and I were trained this summer and found the information very helpful. With the large number of students exhibiting needs this year, we believe it will suit all of us to be prepared should we be one to encounter such needs. If you are trained already, please let me know now. You will not need to attend these sessions unless your certification has expired. Mark your calendar NOW that we will be in training until 4:45 each of the dates below.
