St. Anne School Family Newsletter

March 17, 2021

Dear St. Anne Parents,

I know you will be happy to hear that our students had a visit from St. Patrick himself today during our St. Patrick's Day activities. He looked remarkably good for someone his age. In addition to St. Patrick's visit, our student council sponsored a "Freeze Dance" Spirit Competition between the grades and our Commissioners of School Spirit put on a fun little skit for the students. All students were given a little St. Patrick Day treat that invited them to perform good deeds along with prayer. All these activities took place in our yard with our Distance Learning students being involved as we zoomed the event into their homes. This activity is just another example of how we are trying to help all our student council leaders, as well as all of our students, see that with a little thought and creativity we can adapt what we would normally do to an ever-changing environment.

VACCINES FOR COACHES

I just received an email from the SFDPH stating that volunteer or paid coaches are now eligible to receive the COVID vaccine. Here is the direct quote from the SFDPH - "...Based these Tier 1b guidelines, volunteer or paid coaches involved with School and Out of School Time sports would fall under any other workers involved in child and/or student care”. If you expect to coach or want to coach a sport here at St. Anne School, please get yourself signed up to receive the vaccine. It is great being able to see more and more of our parents being able to get vaccinated. Remember....one step at a time!!!! I hope it won't be long before we can all look back at this time and say....."That was an 'interesting' time in our lives."
