Our Mission Statement
We, THE Tigers, will be inspired to LEAD, HONOR, and EXCEL today!
Message from Administration
Parents,
This week was just another example of why I am proud to be the principal at Tuscany Heights Elementary. We have some amazing things happening here, and it is made possible because of the brilliant minds of our students, hard working and dedicated staff, and the endless support of our family and community members.
During our PTA Lunch and Learn Meeting we had a chance to let our students teach us some things surrounding coding. It was absolutely INCREDIBLE! Now, I want more and more of it happening in our classrooms so my wheels are turning! I encourage you to read and/or scroll through to see these amazing kids at work.
As we embark on the first round of STAAR tests this week, I am reminding myself that this is a stepping stone, because I get to see the other wonderful activities students are taking part in daily. This is a small measure and certainly does not define any of our sweet children. We know they will do great, because we see great every day. To maintain a quiet and secure testing environment, please take note of the full day closed campus dates:

On Monday at 1:00, we are looking for some volunteers that will help write encouraging "Stick it to STARR" Post It Notes that will be placed on the desks of all students taking the STARR both this next week and in the future. We will then stay after school and "Chalk the Walk" by decorating the walkway into the school with encouraging words. We hope you can join us in getting our kids motivated to do their best! Sign Up

Warmer weather = Overflowing Lost and Found
Parents, as the weather warms up we find lots of sweaters and jackets around the school with no name on them – they end up in lost and found and it is OVERflowing! Help us out by checking closets and then sending your students on a mission to find what is lost and bring it home! ALL items will be donated to the NEISD Clothes Closet at the end of the semester.
5th grade students – THE 5th grade committee is working hard to celebrate THE Class of 2018! They need your help collecting kindergarten photos of your tigers. Please send in photos to your teachers via email or actual photo by May 7th. A flyer is being sent home with more info or contact Kelly at kalepeska@yahoo.com
