Teaching Tolerance Training
There is a free website that can be found at tolerance.org. It has hundreds of free lessons available that can be sorted by grade level, topic, and social justice standards. For example, would you like to teach a lesson to kindergarteners about what actions they can take regarding bullying? Tolerance.org has ten lessons for you to read for ideas. Are you interested in receiving the Teaching Tolerance magazine for free? You can do that at tolerance.org as well.
If you missed the opportunity to attend this training, consider attending on June 27th. You can register for it here: Social Justice Teaching 101- Teaching Tolerance Licensed and non-licensed staff are welcome; seats are limited.

P.S. Check out this clever idea from a Lakeville elementary school for keeping the bathroom wash area floors clear of paper towels. It puts the kids in control and it's fun.
