Then after 10 games they were in 1st place and after 12 games they were the 2nd seed. They moved on to match play they won their first 2 matches then on to the championship match. Fan Expectations at Events
We have worked really diligently with our student body to get positive, energetic support for our student athletes at all games. We are continuing to coach our athletes and coaches how to react to officials and opponents when calls and circumstances do not go our way- tremendous life-long skills. We are asking parents to also set a positive tone and example by treating officials, spectators and coaches respectfully especially in the face of adversity.
Thanks so much for your continued support of our programs. Please feel free to share this with any other stakeholders.
Have a game plan: Supporting high school student activities
The goal of co-curricular activities in Anoka-Hennepin Schools is to provide a fun, safe and engaging opportunity for students and community members to support high school students as they perform in sports, fine arts, and other activities.
The NWSC has worked very diligently to make events safe for all stakeholders. Bleacher crew training has taken place within the Anoka-Hennepin District and the NWSC to promote positive, spirited sportsmanship within our student body. There is an expectation for all fans to support our student athletes, coaches, officials and visiting spectators in a positive manner. The NWSC and Anoka High School expects fans to exhibit respectful conduct and speech at all times at all events. Spectators who are unwilling or unable to follow the rules, regulations, or directions from event staff may be asked to leave the event and face further consequences for upcoming events.
If you or your student are planning to attend an upcoming game, it is important to remember that athletic events are governed by the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL), and that student conduct at school and district events is governed by the Anoka-Hennepin Schools Policy Handbook. Be prepared, have a game plan to ensure a fun and safe time.
What to bring: Students from the hosting and visiting schools must be prepared to show student identification at events, and middle school students and younger must be accompanied and supervised by an adult chaperone. Students from any other schools/non-participating schools must also be accompanied by parent/guardian chaperone.
What to leave at home: Backpacks and outside food or drink (if concessions are sold on-site) are not allowed. Anoka-Hennepin prohibits the following at school events:
Weapons.
Alcoholic beverages.
E-cigarettes / vaping.
Tobacco products.
Controlled substances.
Video: See how our students are working to “Stay Above the Line.”

Anoka-Hennepin realizes the importance of athletics and activities in the communities it serves and wants to ensure participants, fans, and community members experience a positive environment at each event.
