All Things Baker!
Principal's Message!
Thank you all also for allowing me to serve your families and for sharing your most precious commodity with me everyday. As some of you may know, my daughter, my only child, is heading to college in the fall so I have a very strong understanding of how precious the commodity is. She has always loved to do "crafty" things and I was going through some of her old projects today and found a canvas with the following statement, "Life is like a camera . . . Focus on what's important, Capture the good times, Develop from the negatives, and if things don't work out, Take another shot." It was the perfect thing I needed at the perfect time. Focusing on what is important can never lead you in the wrong direction. Developing from the negatives could not be better advice. Finally, taking another shot and not giving up can rarely lead you down the wrong path.
Thank you for allowing me to focus on what's important, making Baker Elementary School, Where Kindness is King . . . Simply the Best!
Sincerely,
Danielle Wallace

It’s science! It’s math! It’s history...and quite literally, it’s a BLAST! In our Rock ’n' Roll Rocketry event, students will explore some of the principles of Newton’s Laws of Motion and the aerodynamics of flight as they construct and fly their own model rockets. We’ll discuss the critical issues of safety, collaboration, and design as we work to tackle the rocket challenge-- culminating in a spectacular launch party!
