History
Ohio was originally colonized by French fur traders. It became a state on March 1, 1803, although no official declaration was made.
Weather
Weather in Ohio is cold in the winter and warm in the summer. In the months of November to March the weather is from 40-to colder. In the months of May to September it is in the 70- warmer.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame + Museum
The museum has exhibits of belongings of many famous singers old and new. Tickets for adults are $22, Seniors (65+) and Military are $17, Children ages 9-12 are $13, and children ages 8 and under are free with the purchase of an adult ticket.

National Railroad Freedom Center
There mission is to "reveal stories about freedom's heroes, from the era of the Underground Railroad to contemporary times, challenging and inspiring everyone to take courageous steps for freedom today." The hours are Tuesday through Saturday 11 am to 5 pm. Tickets for adults of $14, seniors 60+ are $12, Children ages 3-12 are $10, children under 3 are free.

A Christmas Story House
This house is the house that was used in A Christmas Story. It is now restored to its original movie splendor. Across the street from the house is the official A Christmas Story Museum with original props, costumes and memorabilia from the film, as well as hundreds of behind-the-scenes photos. They are open year round 7 days a week. On Mondays through Saturdays they are open from 10 am to 5 pm. On Sundays they are open from 12 pm till 5 pm. Tickets for adults are $10, children 7-12 are $6, children 6 and under are free, and seniors are $8.

Hocking Hills State Park
This park is a total of 2,356 acres of land containing towering cliffs, waterfalls and deep hemlock-shaded gorges. This park has camping and cottages.
