Anthrax is a deadly disease that derives from bacterium.
Any amount of anthrax is lethal to both animals and humans.
There are now effective vaccines, disease responds well to antibiotics.
Anthrax is extremely rare in the United States. Anthrax is more common in third world countries where there are not as strict regulations on chemicals, bacteria, and overall working conditions.
Effects of Anthrax
Cutaneous Anthrax:
-Red/brown spot on skin surrounded by redness
-The spot will be blistered and hard
-Headache, nausea, vomiting
-Can be treated if given antibiotics immediately
Inhalation Anthrax:
-Influenza-like symptoms
-Over a short amount of time, there may be severe respiratory distress
-Shock, coma, and death are soon to follow
