The Great Plains
The Great Plains is located in Central TX between the North Central Plains and the Mountains and Basins extending from the Panhandle to the Rio Grande River.
The Great Plains is usually colder than other parts of Texas, but it is also very dry. Most of the buildings are made of stone. They also do a lot of Dairy farming in The Great Plains.
Major Cities
A major city in The Great Plains would be Lubbock. The city is located in the Northwestern part of the state.
National Parks
There is a National Park in The Great Plains called San Ford National Recreational Area. It is located North of Amarillo, in the Panhandle.
Geographic Features
A geographic feature in the Great Plains is a plain, and is located all over the Great Plains.
