4-H Enrollment - Deadline: June 15th!!!

It’s time to get enrolled in 4-H for the 2022 4-H year! Nebraska 4-H has transitioned to 4honline 2.0. To enroll, click on the button below.


For returning families, please do not create a new account; rather use your log-in credentials for 4honline used in previous years. Instructions can be found here: https://4h.unl.edu/enroll/returning-member. Enrollment instructions for new families can be found here: https://4h.unl.edu/enroll/new-member. Please note the enrollment fee for Morrill county is $5 per 4-H member/ $0 for Clover Kid member and is paid either online or at our office.

YQCA Certification - Deadline: June 15th!!!

As summer gets closer, so to does fair deadlines, including YQCA! If you were not able to participate in either of the in-person YQCA trainings offered this year, you must complete the online YQCA Certification in order to be able to show livestock or small animals at fair this summer.


Click on the button below to get to the YQCA website, and complete the online certification. Once you have completed it, make sure to get a copy of your certificate to the Extension Office! You may either send a digital copy to krosas2@unl.edu or bring in a hard copy to the office.

4-H Projects

Projects provide the basis of the 4-H program by offering various educational experiences. Carrying out a project will help the member "learn by doing" as well as learn "why" things happen the way they do.


There are over 200 project areas that youth can enter a project under for the fair. From showing an animal to growing produce in a garden, the opportunities are almost limitless! For more information and some ideas for future projects, click on the button below.

Special Gardening Project - Mrs. Burns' Lemon Basil

The Special Garden Project is a way to offer 4-H members the chance to grow unusual and fun projects in their gardens. The 2023 Special Garden Project will focus on Mrs. Burns’ Lemon Basil. This herb can be used multiple ways. Lemon basil has a unique lemon flavor can be added to any recipe or used as a cut flower in arrangements to add scent and interest.

2023 Youth Leadership Conference - June 4th Registration Due

Register for the 2023 4-H Youth Leadership Conference (YLC)


High School students (ages 14-18)! We are inviting you to join us for the 4-H Youth Leadership Conference, June 19-21, 2023, at Camp Comeca in Cozad, NE. Learn more and register at 4h.unl.edu/leadership-conference by June 4th to claim your spot in this amazing experience. The cost for YLC will be $250. We’ll be taking advantage of some traditional camp activities while integrating leadership workshops, speakers, and an overall topic of influencing the future through leadership to bring together and develop the leaders of Nebraska 4-H!
