David Crockett's Life

David Crockett was born on August 17, 1786, in Tennessee. When he was only eight years old, he learned how to use/shoot a rifle. He ran away when he was only a teen because he wanted to escape school. He married Mary (Polly) Finley in 1806 and had two sons, and their names were John and William Wesley, including a daughter, being named Margaret. In the 1830's he was mainly known for fighting and hunting skills. David Crockett fought in the Battle of The Alamo. He and six of his men were continuing to fight until they were hacked away by the Spaniard's swords. He died on March 6, 1836, the day of the Last Battle for Crockett (hence he died in The Alamo). (He was also known as Davy Crockett)
