Ridgeview Review
February 18, 2019
Compliment to you!
Hi Sarah,
Our teachers visited Ridgeview and were so impressed by the students' behavior. Do you have someone in charge of your behavior management that I can get in touch with? I'd love to hear what you guys are doing.
Thanks!
This is such a testament to the work we have done with PBIS, morning meetings, and campus culture! You should be very proud of the work you do!

RES Hatha Yoga Classes - NEW DATE
If you will be joining the class, please register in Eduphoria and complete the attached PDFs.
Most styles of yoga are based on the same basic yoga poses (called asanas), however the experience of one style can be radically different than another. In this quick guide, I have outlined the most popular form of yoga, called Hatha yoga which is the style of yoga I will be teaching.
What does Hatha Yoga mean?
The meaning of Hatha is to bring balance in the physical and mental body as well as the technique of purification. Hatha is a Sanskrit word that can be broken down into two smaller words, “Ha” means the solar force and “Tha” means the moon force. The process of Hatha yoga is to bring balance between these two forces. Hence, Hatha yoga is not all about physical or physicality of yoga. It is an old system that includes the practice of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises), which help bring peace to the mind and body, preparing the body for deeper spiritual practices such as meditation.
Hatha class in most cases, will be relatively gentle or slow, which are great for beginners or students who prefer a more relaxed style where they hold poses longer. However, classes do vary depending on the students and there are modifications for poses to bring up or down the intensity. Hence, the class is available to all level.
Yoga and its benefits
