Husky Howler
April 9, 2021
Dear Hill-Roberts Families:
It was incredible having students back in school all five days. While everyone looked a lot more tired than they typically do walking out of school this afternoon, most students and staff at least had tired smiles on their faces. As I mentioned earlier in the week we fully expected everyone to struggle a little more towards the end of the week as we increase our stamina and remember what attending five days of school in person feels like. I'm sure next week will be a little easier and then we all get a week off to rest up for the home stretch.
With vacation beginning next Friday I want to remind you that there is a new travel advisory which you can view here: Massachusetts Covid-19 Travel Advisory.
Sincerely,
Frank W. Rich, Principal

This Week in PE
Happy Spring! With the excitement of the warm weather and the arrival of spring, our Huskies have been eager to get outside during their Physical Education class! Please allow your Husky to wear comfortable clothes, sneakers, and bring a water bottle with them to school on their class' Physical Education Day! Please review your child’s Phys. Ed. day(s) below as it may have changed from hybrid to full in-person learning!
Mondays - Amancio, Leddy (4th), Young, Camelo, Bakalars
Tuesdays - Scott, Degrace, Laprade, Lindsay, Kubel
Wednesdays - Young, Laprade
Thursdays - Scott, Leddy (1st), Dileo
Fridays - Dalpe, Lombardy, Puccio, Landry, Bakalars
All grades have been working on the importance of personal space while at recess, on the playground, and inside/outside the classroom. Huskies in grades 2-4 sharpened up their badminton skills by using a birdie, instead of a mini beach ball like we did in the fall! Kindergarten and first grade were introduced to a lacrosse stick in one of our favorite games, Flying Frogs!
I’m excited to start new games/activities with our Huskies now that we are full in person!
Stay Active and Stay Safe!

Happy Friday, Huskies!
