Principal's Message
Thank you for your support and cooperation with our school lockdown this week. We will always post updates on our Facebook Page and our school APP. If you have the school APP, please be sure your notification settings are turned on.
Books for Bikes: We sent home our annual campaign for READING during the months of April and May. The students are reading and providing reading tickets to be put into a drawing for a new bike. There are four bikes awarded at each of the grade levels and we are pleased to partner with the Masonic Lodge again to promote reading in our school. If you happened to misplace your tickets, please let your classroom teacher know and they can provide you with more.
We will continue with our EmPowerME testing fro our 4th Graders next week. The fifth graders completed their testing this week and will have a few makeup tests to do. We are pleased with their efforts to DO THEIR BEST.
3rd Graders Testing April 1-5
Makeup testing: April 8-10
The Glow Dance last Friday Night was awesome. The D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) really put on a great evening of fun and dancing. Thank you for all you do to make our school great and our children happy! The 5th Graders raised $343 at the concessions at this event.
PTC meeting: April 3rd at 6 pm. We will have Jon Doty our Curriculum, Assessment, and Instruction coordinator join our meeting. Other agenda items Garden Day/Art Fair, Teacher Appreciation Week.
Mark your calendars for April 11th: The 5th graders will take on our Staff in our annual basketball game. The event is always fun for all ages to watch the students show no mercy on their aging faculty members.
The 5th Graders have set up two redemption sites to drop off your bottles and cans to donate to their celebration. Mahan's Redemption (Old Town) and Bradley Redemption (Bradley) have accounts set up to receive donations of cans and bottles.
Log your volunteer hours here: We are hoping you'd provide 10 hours of support to our school. Support can come in many forms.
