MATH IS AN AREA WHERE OUR STUDENTS AND TEACHERS NEED YOUR SUPPORT
As we are learning more and more about the effects of the pandemic, a critical need is appearing in Math. Below are several resources where you as our students' parents can help. Math today is not about how we learned Math years ago. Below are several resources for you to help your child at home.

SUMMER SCHOOL
PWCS offers summer academic and enrichment opportunities for students in grades K-12. These summer offerings help mitigate summer learning loss and prepare students for future learning experiences, which ultimately leads to improved student achievement.
PWCS Summer School program students will participate in person, five days a week. The Summer School Academy programs will offer a virtual option for grades K-8.
Visit the Summer School webpage for more about offerings and to register.
PRESCHOOL PEER MODELS NEEDED
Our ECSE Preschool classes are currently searching for peer models for next school year 22-23. There is a 3 year old class (mornings from 8:45am-12:20pm) and a 4 year old class (12:20-3:25pm). We are looking for 3 and 4 year old potential students with good communication, behavior, social, play, and cognitive skills to help teach and model for our littles with special needs. Being potty-trained is also a must! If you have a child who might fit these criteria, please contact our ECSE Preschool teachers, Mrs. Kruse krusejb@pwcs.edu and Mrs. Reeves ReevesPM@pwcs.edu. We have 6 spots per class to fill.
DAYCARE TRANSFERS
If your child/children are attending Rosa Parks ES on a daycare transfer, you must complete a transfer form each year. Daycare transfers for next school year 2022-23 are due to Mrs. Ferrandino by April 30th. Email Mrs. Ferrandino at ferransm@pwcs.edu with any questions.
A Note from our Rosa Parks ES PTO
