Updates from the Pioneer Leadership Team
Pioneer Community,
What a PHENOMENAL week at Pioneer! The week was capped off by a fantastic Black History Month assembly and followed up on Saturday with a State Championship from our Pioneer Men's Swim Team AND a State Championship from our Pioneer Synchronized Swim Team! The momentum continues this week with many great events at Pioneer.
Starting Tuesday, March 14 the Math Department will host their annual Pi Day competition! Students can go to room C327 and write down as many digits of Pi. The Pioneer record is 1285! The top 3 students will win a prize :) Tuesday is also Tunesday during the Pioneer Announcements led by ACTION! It is a classroom competition and the winning class gets a prize!
On Wednesday, March 15 during club lunch the Pioneer Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Student Council will host the 2nd Annual Culture Day to celebrate. We encourage students to dress in their best cultural attire on Wednesday.
On Thursday the Pioneer Choirs will host Choral Cavalcade with Slauson Middle School. Friday the Pioneer BSU will host a St. Patrick's Day Dance from 9pm - Midnight in the Pioneer Cafeteria. On Saturday the Pioneer Bands will host the Bands in Review at Pioneer beginning at 7pm.
