Logos Hope in Malaysia
No luggage. No worries. God is good.
Two weeks full of goodbye’s, hello’s, trying new things, getting rid of old habits, and lost luggage. On Sunday August the 16th I started my new journey heading to the GO Conference to meet up with fellow new OM’ers; to learn how to work with a team made up of people from different nations and cultures, and learn crucial aspects about going into the field.
The start was rough, filled with tear-full goodbyes, a cancelled flight, and lost luggage. However, in the short time I’ve been here it has already been a life changing and rewarding experience. I’ve been able to meet, learn from, and befriend my brothers and sisters in Christ from all over the World. Learn how to work in a team with them, and see the power that is in our differences.
Long flights and long lines, but new friends
Going forward I will be flying out with 80 new shipmates to Malaysia for our PST (pre ship training). There we will learn basic safety training for living on a ship, find out what are specific jobs will be, and officially join the Logos Hope.
Please pray for safety; on August 29th I and 300 other people will be flying out to different places all over the world to share the hope that is Jesus Christ.
Please pray for wisdom; some of the countries I will be visiting are CAN countries (Creative Access Nations) where it is illegal to share the gospel.
Please pray for peace; with so much change in so little time life can feel like chaos.
Thank you all so much for your prayer and support! I could not do this without each and everyone of you! Please let me know if there is anything I can be praying about for you and your family.
