PTO Meeting March 23rd
Our next meeting will be held at the St. Charles Public Library. Please join us at 6:30pm in the Carnegie Room for a brief PTO meeting followed by a school board candidate forum at 7:00pm. The PTO is not endorsing any candidates. We are expecting at least 7 of the candidates to attend so this is a great opportunity to be informed before the April 4th election.
Please fill out this form if you plan to attend and have a particular question you would like to ask the candidates.
(FYI, the meeting is for adults only, but children aged 8 and older may visit the children's area of the library while their parents attend the meeting, if you trust your children to be respectful, responsible, and safe!)

Empower Opportunity to Connect with China
Hello families! I am excited to announce that we have the opportunity to connect with a class from the St. Lorraine International School in China to share our learning over Zoom. This connection is part of Read Around the Planet which celebrates reading and learning. During our connection, the students in China will teach our students some Tai Chi. Our students will be teaching the students in China something. This something will be determined by the students who sign up to be part of the project. Because of the time difference, this connection will be taking place in the evening for us. We will also be meeting as a group after school several days leading up to the connection.
This opportunity is an optional activity for all interested students. Any student interested must be able to stay after school until 4:30 on the following days:
- Tuesday, March 21st
- Thursday, March 23rd
- Tuesday, April 4th
- In addition, students will participate in the connection on Thursday, April 6th from 7:30 until 8:30pm. Families are welcome to join us for the connection.
If your student is interested in participating in this amazing opportunity please fill out the form found here. Please contact Mrs. Dixon at amy.dixon@d303.org with any questions.
