What our Gifted students have been up to...

Our K-2 students have been expressing creativity through original ideas and details.

Third and Fourth grade students expressed details and elaboration by creating post cards to share about their summer vacations. Third grade has been exploring the continents and oceans. Fourth grade is learning about the circulatory system and the heart.

Fifth and Sixth graders have been team building by strategizing and connecting through common interests. Fifth grade is learning about conflicts between cultures using the book Salt by Helen Frost, while Sixth grade is learning about the Great Depression with the book Moon Over Manifest by Clare Vanderpool.

Junior High students have been meeting individually with Mrs. Harrison to set goals, and talk about courses that best suit there needs moving through high school and their pathways.

High School students have been preparing for the upcoming ACT dates. They have also met to track their courses for success, and shared information about college visits that are available.
