News from the Sanborn PTA

2021 Sanborn Walkathon & Earth Week Celebration April 19-23
The Walk-a-thon is the PTA's ONLY fundraiser each year! To include our virtual and in-person learners and follow all COVID safety protocols, we are challenging ourselves to think creatively and provide activties for ALL Sanborn students, as well as raise money for our amazing PTA!
Funds raised support PTA programs such as School Assemblies, Fall Fest, Holiday Breakfast & Secret Shop, Welcoming Breakfasts, Teacher Appreciation and more! Without your help, the PTA would be unable to fund these programs that benefit students, families, and teachers at our school each year.
For every $5.00 they return in pledge donations, students receive 1 virtual prize ticket!
(ex. $5.00 = 1 ticket, $20.00 = 4 tickets)
Virtual tickets will be used by students to pre-select prizes they would like to try and win via Google Forms.
Prizes for this year's drawing include Sanborn Spirit Wear,
Gift Cards to local businesses, restaurants, and more…!
The PTA will also be recognizing highest class participation along with the top 15 fundraisers.
All donations need to be submitted online at:
https://gms.memberhub.store/store/items/753889
*Please be sure to include student name, teacher name and grade when submitting your online donation. This way we can give credit to the correct student. All donations should be submitted by Friday April 16, 2021.

We are committed to making sure everyone who steps up will be supported.
At our April 13th meeting, we are excited to welcome Mrs. Kate Arenberg, the new Sanborn Principal. She is eager to meet our families and learn all the ways that Sanborn is an amazing place to grow and learn.
Also at the April 13th meeting, we will be reviewing and voting on the update to our By-Laws. You can find a copy of those By-Laws linked below. Please let us know if you have any questions.
Bike to School Day- Wednesday, May 5th
If your child is unable to ride their bike due to distance, being a virtual learner, or taking the bus, do not worry. As long as they ride their bike after school they will qualify for a prize. Please fill out this form if your child rode their bike to school or after school! Their name will be put in the raffle to win a prize. Please remember to send your student with a bike lock.
