Message from our Counselors
School Counselors are available near the exits each day after school if you have questions or need a quick personal check-in. We are here and happy to help ❤!
Course request view access is now closed in StudentVue and ParentVue. If you have questions about your course requests, including AP/Honors course add or drop, email your school counselor before the last day of school. All requests are subject to the availability of the course(s) and meeting the prerequisites. We will do our best to fulfill your requests. Note: The course requests are your first choices and not the final schedule. Once your schedule is created, change requests will be difficult to honor.
Athletics update
REMINDER:
We are proud of our student-athletes and we want you to have your seasons AND be able to attend in-person.
While athletics has specific guidelines for during the actual practices and competitions, we must remind all athletes and coaches to follow the mask and social distance protocols at school.
Indoor sports have begun along with the last season for outdoor sports this year. Spectators are limited and indoor will continue to have less spectators and immediate household only.
No food/drink at events. Water bottles allowed.
Thank you.
To all of our athletes: we are so proud of you all for your perseverance throughout these difficult times and we wish you the best in your competitions!
Go MUSTANGS!
Due to the COVID -19 pandemic, all dates are subject to change.
Summer School 2021 - more details to come
- June 7 - July 23rd remediation/limited acceleration - mostly online with a couple of in person courses (schedule to be determined but possibly am/pm sessions ... online will be full 7 weeks with some students finishing faster....whereas in person may be 4 weeks due to the requirements for earning credits)
- There will be enrichment, learning recovery support, and support offered but offerings and schedule are to be determined. These will most likely be shorter time frames and will not be credit-bearing courses
- Summer School Administrators - Talia Chapman and David Coronado will begin communications as they get more details very soon.
Seniors see Synergy emails and the community update - we will have more info sent out soon!
What if our students need a Chromebook or have an issue with a current one?
The student/family should contact the front office during work hours 7:30-4 Mon-Fri (except holidays)
916-688-0050
Individuals will be told when and how to pick up a Chromebook on a case by case basis. It will not occur at distribution for term 4.
Respecting each other's safety - following the protocols
Help us to be safe by:
- wearing the mask correctly (over nose and mouth)
- We must wear them on campus now. See past emails about when/where and how to properly wear the mask.
Let's be sure to follow all safety protocols including but not limited to:
- use the daily checklist and do not come to campus if any experiencing any symptoms
- wear masks when on campus
- social distance 6ft or more
- use zoom or phone for conversations or go outdoors when possible
These will still be in place even if you are vaccinated.
Avoid eating together in the same space and do not share food - this has been a main contributor to close contacts in schools
